Das SUb ist ein selbstverwaltetes und gemeinnütziges Vereinsprojekt. Alle Veranstaltungen, die im SUb stattfinden sind daher keine öffentlichen Veranstaltungen, sondern Vereinsveranstaltungen.
Keine_r, die_der den Raum nutzt, muss dafür Geld bezahlen. Zugleich kann auch niemand Geld verdienen. Alle Vereinsmitglieder bringen sich ehrenamtlich in das Projekt ein. Was das SUb ist, wie es funktioniert und welchen Kurs wir einschlagen, bestimmen all jene, die den Raum nutzen, gemeinsam. Es gibt somit keine vorgegebene Linie oder Richtung, die von irgendjemand vordiktiert wird, sondern Entscheidungen werden gemeinsam getroffen, was bedeutet, dass einzig und allein aktive Beteiligung darüber entscheidet, was im SUb passiert. Wir wollen damit Gegenentwürfe zu den hierarchischen und diskriminierenden Gesellschaftsstrukturen umsetzen, in denen wir leben. Das bedeutet für uns, dass wir gemeinsam darauf achten, dass rassistisches, nationalistisches, sexistisches, homophobes, antisemitisches, kurz: diskriminierendes Verhalten im Projekt thematisiert, kritisiert und diesem gegengesteuert wird. Dabei ist uns bewusst, dass auch wir Teil der gesellschaftlichen Strukturen sind, die wir überwinden wollen. Dein Verhalten, die Reflexion auf dein Verhalten, dein Umgang mit Raum, Equipment, Anrainer_innen und auch deine Solidarität in Problemsituationen und mit dem Vereinsprojekt an sich erhalten das Projekt.

Das Projekt soll Raum für Partys, Konzerte, Lesungen, Vorträge, Diskussionsveranstaltungen, Workshops, etc. bieten. Alle Entscheidungen werden am wöchentlichen Plenum (jeden Dienstag um 18:00 Uhr) gemeinsam getroffen. Jede_r, der,_die beschriebenen Ansätze mit uns teilt, ist gerne dazu eingeladen, das Projekt mitzugestalten und die Inhalte weiterzuentwickeln.

The SUb is a self-organized, non-commercial and non-profit association. All activities and events that take place at SUb are therefore no public events, but events for registered club members. No one who uses the space has to pay money for it. At the same time nobody can earn money with it. All members take voluntary part in the project. What the SUb is, how it works and which course it takes is defined together by all those who use the space. Therefore there is no predetermined line or direction that is fixed by anyone, but decisions are made jointly, which means that only active participation determines what happens at the SUb. Thereby we want to establish an alternative draft to hierarchical and discriminating structures of the society we live in. That means for us that we pay attention to racist, nationalist, sexist, homophobic, anti-Semitic, short: discriminating attitude and behavior and that we pick it out as a central theme, criticize, prevent and counteract together against it. In doing so we are aware of the fact that we are also part of the social structures we want to get over. Your behavior, the reflection of your behavior, how you treat the space and equipment, how you deal with neighbours and also your solidarity in problematic situations and your soildarity with the project itself maintain the project.

The project should offer space for parties, concerts, readings, speeches, discussion meetings, workshops etc. All decisions are made together on the weekly meeting (every Tuesday at 6 pm). Everyone who shares the described views with us is cordially welcomed to participate in the project and to develop the issues further.
